“I work in an area where my group’s performance is included with the performance of other teams. My peer supervisors continually badger me about our teams above average performance. They say it makes them look bad and we need to pull together and support each other. I am not sure how to handle this?”
Follow their suggestion and you are contributing to mediocrity. Is mediocrity a goal of your organization, I doubt it. As the leader of your group, you owe it to them and your company to produce excellent results each and every day.
